2nd Annual High Performance Manufacturing Conference

The Northumberland Manufacturers’ Association and Northumberland County Economic Development are pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual High Performance Manufacturing Conference:  Driving Success Through Innovation will take place on November 15 – 16, 2006 at the Best Western Cobourg Inn and Convention Centre. NMA Wins Community Economic Development Award

The Northumberland Manufacturers’ Association is the proud recipient of this year's Community Economic Development Award presented by the Association of Ontario Community Futures Development Corporations (OACFDC). The NMA was nominated by the Northumberland CFDC for its contributions to the local manufacturing sector – including an annual conference, strategic focus groups, and a speaker series featuring industry leaders from across Canada. President and CEO of GE Canada To Speak In Cobourg

The Northumberland Manufacturers' Association (NMA), in partnership with Northumberland CFDC, is pleased to announce the launch of its 2006 Speaker Series. On Friday, February 10, the President and CEO of GE Canada, Elyse Allan, will speak on Competing and Succeeding in the 21st Century. Northumberland to Host Manufacturing Conference

The Northumberland Manufacturers’ Association (NMA), in partnership with Northumberland County Economic Development, will host the 1st Annual High Performance Manufacturing Conference in Cobourg, Ontario on November 14, 2005. An innovative partnership among industry, government, and the educational sector, the conference will help local manufacturers develop the knowledge and skills necessary to compete more effectively in the global market. Manufacturers' Association Hires Executive Director

The steering committee of the Northumberland Manufacturers' Association (NMA) is pleased to confirm the appointment of Ms. Paula Johnson as Executive Director of the organization. Development of the NMA began in the spring of 2004 when several local companies discussed ways they could collaborate to strengthen manufacturing throughout the region. Full text
