Recently the Northumberland & Central Chamber of Commerce held its annual Business Achievement Awards. These are awards presented each year to a local manufacturer doing great things. The manufacturing category has been judged on the following criteria in the past; current business achievements, steps taken to stand out from competition, greatest business challenge, innovation and technical advancement, employment practices and community relationship activities.
The 2012 Northumberland & Central Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award was presented to Anamet Canada. Anamet Canada Inc. is Canada’s leading manufacturer of flexible conduits and is part of Anamet Inc., a worldwide producer of flexible conduits and flexible metal hose, including the original ‘SEALTITE’ liquid-tight flexible conduit.
Anamet invented flexible conduit in 1908 and currently manufacture these products in plants throughout the world.
