Charlene Smith
Charlene is a native of Northumberland County and has also lived and worked in the Peterborough and Orillia areas. She started her secretarial career at the Society for the Restoration of Victoria Hall in Cobourg and then moved on to an administrative position with Mutual Life, both in Peterborough and in Orillia. She returned to the Cobourg area in 1978 and went to work for General Foods and Kraft Canada Inc. After a 31 year career at Kraft Canada and with the plant closure, Charlene accepted the position of Office Administrator for the Northumberland Manufacturers’ Association. She lives in Hamilton Township with her husband and one son.
